Looking for the right foundation and shade of makeup to match your skin tone can be a major pain, especially having to apply and reapply a multitude of products at the store just to get the perfect fit. To make the process a whole lot easier, Shiseido recently launched Digital Cosmetic Mirrors in Tokyo malls, designed to help us shop for makeup, without all the fuss.
The digital mirror scans your face and gives you makeup suggestions that suit your skin tone and face, through a virtual preview. The touch screen also allows you to make adjustments and get results in real time, so you can make decisions about your purchases right on the spot. On top of all that, you can print before-and-after photos along with product information and a shopping list of the makeup you want.
There’s no word yet on when the digital mirrors will come to malls in the U.S., but let’s cross our fingers that we can get them soon for some one-on-one hi-tech beauty expertise. [via Daily Contributor]
