Hey, Alpha Girls fans! We’re more than half way through the series! In this week’s episode, “Work Work Work,” we learned about all of the effort and hard work that it takes for the girls to be at the top of their game.
Soo Joo went on day two of New York Fashion Week—after finishing up a runway show for Rag & Bone she dashed onto the next fitting for Jeremy Scott. As a model who isn’t as commercial, NYFW posed a struggle, since she wasn’t booking as many shows as she would’ve liked. The upside? Paris Fashion Week followed shortly thereafter, and her close relationship with Karl Lagerfield opened a door to potentially walk for Chanel.

After waiting patiently to meet her biggest inspiration, Mina finally got to see Pharrell Williams in Vegas, in addition to his friend Swizz Beats. Pharrell was blown away by the custom art pieces Mina created and invited her to join him at a BBC event on her last night in town.

Since she shares a manager with Skrillex, Tokimonsta was in good company, and they were both asked to perform at the Ansan Festival in Seoul. Though technically categorized in the same genre of music, they have very different sounds, and after seeing the audience’s positive response to Skrillex’s performance, she was pumped yet nervous about the audience’s reaction. We also got insight into her name, as she explained that the name Tokimonsta is made up of two opposites: “Toki” means “rabbit” in Korean, which creates a unique contrast when paired with “Monsta.”

Miss Lawn reached the last day of the “ratchelorette” party and the Project trade show. As crazy and short-lived as the celebration was with her best friend Vernie, Miss Lawn was happy to see her start a new chapter. She then headed over to the trade show in order to wrap up final meetings with buyers and team before a final hurrah at the Street Hearts party in Vegas.
