This Week's Scoop of Mochi Minis
Today marks the International Day of the Girl, an official United Nations resolution established in 2011 that seeks to spread awareness about the neglect and devaluation of girls around the world. Every year on October 11, the United Nations encourages us to discuss the future of girls and to celebrate their achievements. This year's theme is "Innovating for Girls' Education," which focuses on how educating girls can create a better world for everyone. Here at Mochi, our sole mission has always been to empower girls, Asian American girls for that matter, to achieve their full potential and build up their communities. Our latest Dreamer issue celebrates our cause for girls to dream up a better future for themselves, their family, and their friends. And speaking of dreamers, here's the scoop on some young women who have transformed their goals into realities.

Olivia Kim, former VP of creative at Opening Ceremony and most recently, the director of creative projects at Nordstrom, launched a series of "pop-in" stores, where you can find all French luxury goods, including Maison Kitsune, Saint James, and Rodarte. [Refinery29]
