SaSa: Asia's Sephora Offers the Best Beauty Products at Low Prices
If you're traveling to Asia this summer, be sure to take a break from eating and shopping to visit one of my favorite cosmetics stores in the world. SaSa is a chain of cosmetic stores located throughout Asia, with locations in Hong Kong, China, South Korea, Malaysia and more. Look for SaSa in large malls or shopping centers while you're there, and make sure to check out the following must-have items: Kiss Me: Look for cute packaging decorated with anime characters with huge eyes. Kiss Me (Heroine Make) is known for their fiber-infused mascaras and their long-wearing liquid eye-liner pens. Its quality and price, in my opinion, far surpasses most American brands.Eyelash Combs and Curler: Seeing as they're specially sculpted to fit Asian eyes, eyelash curlers sold at SaSa are less likely to pinch and crimp your eyes. Also look for extremely fine eyelash combs. The one I bought last summer has dense and pointed teeth—perfect for separating fine clumps out of even finer eyelashes.
Dejavu Fiberwig Mascara: Extremely popular in the U.S., Fiberwig started off as an Asian brand and is still sold in Asia at a far lower price than in the U.S. The last I checked, Fiberwig cost me around $11 USD for a tube, compared to the $24 it costs at Sephora.
If you really can't wait til your next trip to the motherland to get your hands on these goodies, you can shop online at SaSa.com. There's free shipping over $75 so grab a few friends to split the cost—there's no excuse not to!
