Kollaboration New York's Open Mic Benefit Show
On Sunday, May 22, Kollaboration New York will host an open mic benefit show that supports its annual talent show held in the fall. Kollaboration is a non-profit Asian and Pacific Islander (API) organization that strives to promote the entertainment endeavors of APIs.
The open mic show will feature Asian musical performers Decipher, Johnnyphlo and The Suzan. There will also be a guest DJ set by G*LEE, and the proceeds from the event will go toward the relief efforts in Japan. If you want a sampling of current Asian talent, check out this show at the National Underground (159 E. Houston St., New York, NY) from 7-10 p.m. Tickets are $10 pre-sale until Friday and $15 at the door if you are 18+.
