An impromptu study conducted by 14-year-old Stuyvesant High School student Milo Beckman argues that if you write a longer essay on your SATs, you’ll get a higher score regardless of what you write. Yes, he’s only 14, but his theory has received support from M.I.T. Professor Perelman, who has also conducted research and found that 90 percent of the time, you can predict SAT essay’s scores just by looking at its length.
