Beauty Review: ‘Get The London Look’ with Rimmel's Spring Collection

As someone who is obsessed with the city of London and its influence over fashion and beauty, Rimmel London's new spring collection does not disappoint, especially if you’re like me and you believe in the motto ‘less is more.’ Their products add the right touch of sophistication and color without covering up your natural beauty. Rimmel London recently sent over several products for me to test out, including Royal Gloss in Cookie, Moisture Renew Lip Colour SPF 18 in Iced Coffee, and Lasting Finish Blendable Blush in Berry. Each product boasts its own distinct qualities, which made me an instant fan.

For instance, I love wearing gloss, but I also hate the kinds that are too sticky, too sparkly or have a weird taste. Rimmel London’s Royal Gloss ($4.99) gave me the right amount of shine without making my lips look like Edward Cullen out on a sunny day.  It comes in 10 shades and each gloss is enhanced with the yummy scents of bubble gum, peach or chocolate.

As an avid blush user, I love how a quick application can make your face glow, especially if you’re running short on time. The Lasting Finish Blendable Blush ($4.99) provides long-lasting wear and smudge-resistant color, giving you a sheer coverage that results in a healthy natural finish. Available shades are Berry, Pink Rose, Pink Sorbet and Santa Rosa.

On days I want to experiment with color, I apply a creamy lipstick—preferably one with sun protection. Rimmel London’s Moisture Renew Lip Colour SPF 18 ($6.79) offers an array of benefits. Infused with ingredients like Vitamin A, C and E, this product helps reduce lip dryness up to 65 percent. Its moisturizing benefits makes a huge difference as a smoother lip surface means longer and brighter lip color.

Make sure to check out Rimmel London products at your local drug stores and/or mass retailers nationwide. You can also visit Rimmel London website for store locations.
