Today marks the International Day of the Girl, an official United Nations resolution established in 2011 that seeks to spread awareness about the neglect and devaluation of girls around the world. Every year on October 11, the United Nations encourages us to discuss the future of girls and to celebrate their achievements. This year’s theme is “Innovating for Girls’ Education,” which focuses on how educating girls can create a better world for everyone.
Here at Mochi, our sole mission has always been to empower girls, Asian American girls for that matter, to achieve their full potential and build up their communities.
