Japanese Pop Star, Masumi …Stay tuned for her New CD Release and Tour Dates.
Los Angeles, CA – 25 year old Japanese Pop Star Masumi, born in Niigata, Japan, Masumi started honing her craft early in life. She was playing piano by the age of 4, playing concerts by the age of 6, and by her teen years had picked up percussion, cello, and voice using the perfect pitch that she possessed.
By attending Kanagawa University at Yokohama, Masumi eventually made the leap to America in hopes of beginning her music career in earnest.
Within a year Masumi had a demo and months later, with the help of famed producer Trevor Lawrence, Jr. (Eminem, Alicia Keys), was signed to America’s Fortress Records heralding the release of Baby You, with 10 of the most amazing original tracks you’ll ever experience. She has soared to the position of #8 on Billboard’s Hot R&B Singles Sales!
Masumi has enriched audiences all over California and Japan in concert, festivals, spinning nationally with drops, and is the newest Pop sensation to hit this Nation. She is currently working on her next project which promises to deliver ever more than this rising star has served up before, this artist is HOT!
Masumi is well on her way to being Japan’s first true crossover artist in America in a long time. And she is poised for it to happen with a Bang!….A SWEET BANG!
